Will I have to go to court?
Most of our matters resolve without a trial. Mediation and collaborative processes are usually faster, cheaper and less damaging to co-parenting relationships — but we prepare every case as though it may be heard.
What will this cost?
We give a written estimate after the first meeting, and we bill against it. If a strategy stops being proportionate to what is at stake, we will tell you rather than keep going.
Can I keep the house?
Sometimes. It depends on equity, income, and what else is being divided. We will model the realistic options before you make a decision you cannot reverse.
How long does it take?
Oregon requires a 90-day waiting period for dissolution. Uncontested matters often finish close to that; contested ones take longer, and we will give you a range rather than a promise.
